Irish Tech News recently sat down with Blockchain Reactor to find out more about them, the success they have enjoyed so far and their plans for the future.
Describe the company – the elevator pitch …
Blockchain Reactor (bcreactor.com) is a blockchain technology and peer-to-peer networks solution provider. We are a team of experienced technologists with over 16 years of experience working with large corporates and exciting startups. We are backed by our investment partner, Razor Communications. Razor Communications have a clientele of large multinationals including MasterCard, Ryanair and the U.S. Embassy. Razor Communications also work with startups such as Trustev, Zeto and Scurri. We have expertise working with blockchain technology, including smart contracts. We are looking to apply our extensive background in software development to blockchain development.
How are you different?
Our group has over 16 years of experience developing cutting-edge software for clients across the globe. Over this period our team has learned how to adapt to new technologies and trends. We brought in a number of leaders in blockchain development to ensure our team are up to date with the latest standards and guidelines. We have a tried and tested approach to software development, which will serve as an excellent benchmark for Blockchain Reactor moving forward. We have worked with in excess of 100 startups over the last 10 years, on projects including mobile applications, machine learning, IOT, and more.

Where are you based?
Our team truly are decentralized!! We are spread between America, South Africa, Serbia and Ireland.
When was the company launched?
Blockchain Reactor was officially launched in March 2018.
What have been your biggest wins to date?
Our biggest win to date has been the contract we secured with MasterCard, which involves becoming the provider of choice for software development projects in the region. Thus far securing the backing of MasterCard was our biggest win. We are confident in our ability to grow and scale quickly, leveraging our partnership with Razor Communications and subsequently securing more contracts in the near future.
Who are you trying to attract to your product?
We aim to attract both large and small companies who are building exciting projects that truly will disrupt and change the global technology landscape. This includes early stage startups who have a high potential product, all the way up to Fortune 500 companies. We ask that our clients have a clear, concise and realistic business model prior to speaking with us. This enables us to add significant value to your project from day one.
What tips would you give to others looking to build their business?
There are two tips which I think are key to any business:
Rather than starting your idea with what to sell, think about what it will solve.
Keep it simple — Be careful not to let your concept snowball into something over complicated. You could end up with an expensive elaborate end-product that nobody wants to buy!
If you can follow these two tips you will be in a very strong position.

Our team in Belgrade consists of individuals with a broad range of backgrounds. These backgrounds include UI/UX, mobile, front & back-end development, blockchain and data science.

What are your plans for the future?
Our goal is become one of the top 10 blockchain development companies globally by 2020.
We are actively working towards this goal and are delighted to have recently partnered with the world’s largest blockchain recruitment agency. Furthermore, we have secured more than ten strategic partnerships with key players in the blockchain space, allowing us to grow and scale in the coming months.
What are your favourite tech gadgets?
VR headsets; these headsets have saved us thousands of dollars travelling to meet clients. We have found a new Irish based startup that allows us to have all of our meetings in a virtual meeting room. We can even collaborate in real-time on the virtual meeting room.
What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
I would love to have a Smart Coffee machine, this way I could arrive into work each morning and have a lovely americano waiting for me 🙂
